Laboratory and General Human Anatomy is the science that deals with the structure of the human body. The Anatomy Laboratory provides basic knowledge of gross human anatomy, which is important for every student in the departments and colleges of limb engineering, medical prosthetics, and the colleges and departments of biomedical engineering, medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, and pharmacy.
Anatomy forms a firm foundation for the entire art of medicine and introduces the student to the greater part of medical terminology. Anatomy also includes the introduction of different structures of the human body, such as connective tissue, cartilage, bones, joints, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, lymphatic system, skin, appendages, etc.
The laboratory is used in studying the human body (Human Anatomy) with regard to the anatomy of the body’s muscles (upper and lower limbs), the heart and the back, in addition to the bones regarding the upper limbs (Upper Limbs), the lower limbs (Joints) and the spine (for all its parts) and the skull.
