Attended the meeting of the Deans of the Colleges of Engineering in its third session for the academic year 2020/2021, which was held virtually on Monday, 24/5/2021. It included discussing many engineering issues in its academic and research fields, in addition to matters concerned with engineering affairs in all its branches, as well as vital topics covered by studies for several colleges. The meeting also discussed recommendations and decisions of previous meetings.

The Dean indicated that during the meeting, matters related to the faculties of engineering and engineering education in Iraq were discussed, including updating the curricula of some faculties and discussing the possibility of creating rare engineering departments to serve the labor market, in addition to discussing the books received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Noting that the orientations of universities in general and engineering faculties, in particular, is their willingness to cooperate to advance all sectors of higher education in Iraq, the most important of which is developing curricula, cooperating with universities and international organizations, building strong relationships with them and benefiting from their capabilities to support the educational process in Iraqi universities, and finding appropriate solutions To the problems and obstacles of different companies and departments of the state
