The Vision: the electric and electronics department tries to keep developing its academic programs to enhance engineering learning levels as well as to provide professional engineers with outstanding knowledge background and skills, in order to face the challenges and the requirements for the academic and scientific environment, to satisfy the ABET standards as well as the vision for both the college and the university.

The Message: the electric and electronics depart message focuses on having the full quality standards by the continuous improvement of engineering learning process and to raise the performance level for both faculty and students, also to improve the engineering and teaching services by the following steps:

  • The continuous work to provide different academic programs with high standard and accredited internationally.
  • To have graduated engineers with high skills, so that they can compete professionally on local and international level.
  • To attract post-graduate students with outstanding skills in both scientific and professional aspects.
  • To attract and improve a highly qualified faculty.
  • Provide a good environment for both faculty and postgraduate student to conduct an outstanding research paper.
  • To accomplish a full cooperation between the department and other institutions in work market field.
  • Provide the consultants, measurements as well as the specialized work-shops in electrical engineering field.

The goals: the department tries to accomplish the following goals:

  • To raise the academic teaching level and to improve the teaching program outcomes to be within ABET standards.
  • To spread the quality standards principles and improve its acceptance for all levels and who related to it from faculty, staff and students.
  •  Keep on the quality of academic program and improve it by the continuous evaluation.
  • Improve the scientific references to be up to date.
  • Improve the current labs and establish new one as needed.
  • Improve student scientific knowledge by the practical programs and field visits.
  • To keep the faculty up to date by the continuous sharing of conferences and specialized workshops.
