The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering participated in the patent obtained by Engineer Hajar Abdel Samad Al-Haffar in manufacturing an inner lining for the sockets used in artificial prothetics. They participated in the Future Sustainability Week held at the Al-Mustaqbal University of Babylon and obtained the patent in conjunction with Professor Dr. Muhammad Hamza Al-Mamouri, who is the head of PO Engineering in university of Technology, and Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Ali, University of Babylon, and Professor Dr. Asaad Faisal Khattab, University of Mosul. During this week, a large number of patents related to the field of engineering of Prosthetics and Orthotics were presented and honored by the President of Future University.
