One of the teaching faculty of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the College of Engineering-University of Kerbala, Professor Dr Ali Abdul Razzaq Al-Taher, participated in the fourth course for preparing trainers (TOT) in teaching methods towards blended learning at the University of Kufa.
Within the project to prepare trainers in teaching methods adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of 100 trainees from various Iraqi universities.
The Director of the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Kufa, Professor Dr Razzaq Al-Tayyar, said, “The course, which lasts a full month, aims to develop the human capabilities of the trainee teachers according to the updated curriculum.”
On its first day, the course included an introduction to the program that was launched in 2022 at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the United Nations and went through several stages presented by the two members of the committee, in which they addressed the definition of the program and the specializations it targets, in addition to discussing the skills of a successful trainer, types of trainees, body language, the training bag, the difference between training and education, and dealing with questions.
