The Department of Petroleum Engineering is one of the departments of this college, which was established in 2014 to become one of the vital departments in the College of Engineering. This department aims to qualify a scientific cadre specialized in the field of petroleum capable of working in the oil facility and specialized fields, as well as keeping pace with the scientific development witnessed in this specialty. . And supporting our dear country with rare specializations in the field of oil and its production, oil and gas refining, and supporting oil refineries because of their importance in supporting the country’s economy and the holy province of Karbala.
