The Dean of the College of Engineering / University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, participated in the celebration held by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, and faculty from many other universities and corresponding institutions, graduate students and their families.
Where the ceremony was held at Sayyid Al-Shuhada Hall, (peace upon him), in the College of Engineering, in celebration held after a two-year break due to the pandemic conditions.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in sympathy for the martyrs of Iraq, and the playing of the national anthem song.
Then the Dean of the College of Engineering gave a speech on the occasion in which he welcomed the honorable attendees and congratulated the graduates student and thanked the teaching staff of the Biomedical Engineering Department, praising their academic efforts that culminated in this success.
He also congratulated the students on this occasion, wishing them success in their practical career after their long academic career, wishing them success in their working life, and an active role in the process of reconstruction their dear country, and congratulating the attended families for their great role in the success of their children.
