Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali Muhammad Al-Hamami, from the Department of Civil Engineering – College of Engineering – University of Kerbala, participated in a discussion of a doctoral thesis that was conducted at the University of Baghdad – College of Engineering
The thesis was submitted by Alaa Mohsen Mahdi, and tagged (Analysis of the recovery procedure on the success of the construction project).
The study investigated the effective recovery methods and proposes a general methodology for recovering troubled projects, which consists of three stages: the stage of identifying the potential faltering factors that may occur in these projects, and the stage of evaluating and prioritizing those factors causing the failure that was identified through the development of two models using ANFIS-FMEA, which provide an effective tool for classifying faltering factors, while the third stage includes identifying appropriate response strategies and the best response procedures for each faltering factor in those projects to deal with them during the project stages, which can make these projects more successful.
