In a continuous effort to develop and enhance the educational environment, evaluate institutional and scientific performance, and improve scientific research, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the results of Iraqi’s 2024 university rankings.
A total of 2072 academic departments from 100 public and private universities and colleges were evaluated based on specific performance criteria, which include:
– Program Quality and Accreditation (50%)
– Faculty Performance (25%)
– Global Academic Discipline Rankings (25%)
The results, published on the official ranking platform ([IRU Rankings] (https://iru.asse-gate.gov.iq)) , highlighted exceptional achievements. Notably, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering secured first place among all government academic departments in Iraq.
