During the science day competition which is held by ministry of higher education and scientific research, the department of electrical and electronic engineering won the second place for engineering disciplines for the distinguished graduation project award, in return for the distinguished efforts and creative achievement of the researcher prof.dr. haider ismail shahdi with ali abdel karim and researcher kawthar dia yassin entitled (design and manufacture of an intelligent system that works with voice indications) and he obtained a patent registered in the ministry of planning / central organization for standardization of goods. the college of engineering, with all its scientific departments, seeks to continue research and reaffirmation to perpetuate the cooperative movement in society and keep pace with the rapid scientific development.
