The Department of Biomedical Engineering celebrated an honoring ceremony on the occasion of the end of the Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Fawzi Al-Shamry period as the head of the department, and the blessing of Assistant Professor Dr. Riad Nayef to succeed Al-Shamry. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, and the Associate Administrative Dean, Assist Prof Dr. Alaa Muhammad Jawad, and the Dean gave a speech on the occasion, recalling and appreciating Dr. Al-Shammari’s efforts and dedication in performing his work during the period of his official assignment as the head of department. The honor was given in the presence of the teaching staff in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and the staff expressed their happiness to work in the previous period despite the challenges that had faced in the educational reality due to the outbreak of the Corona virus and its repercussions.
