Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kerbala, Professor Sabah Wajid, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Haider Nazim Al-Muhanna, the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific symposium entitled “New Developments in Engineering: From Research to Technology.”

The symposium was attended by a number of faculty members and students. The lecturers discussed the most prominent developments in the field of engineering and how scientific research can be translated into technological applications that contribute to improving daily life.

The symposium included two keynote lectures:

Dr. Pouya Bidari from Khawaja Nasreddin Toosi University of Technology in Iran, who discussed the latest innovations in the field of engineering technology.

Dr. Amer Manzoor Imran Al-Mousawi from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kerbala, who spoke about the practical applications of engineering research in the field of mechanical engineering.

The symposium, held in the Sayyid al-Shuhada Hall of the College of Engineering, reflected the university’s commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation.
