The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala organized a training course entitled Linear and Nonlinear Regression Analysis Using the Statistical Analysis Program SPSS.
The training course aimed to introduce researchers to the types of data, how to filter the data, choose the appropriate type of statistical analysis, introduce linear regression, how to ensure its availability in the sample under study, and when to resort to non-linear regression analysis. In addition, the training course included how to test hypotheses and what statistical parameters are required to ensure the quality and efficiency of the nonlinear mathematical model
The course was attended by several professors, engineers, and postgraduate students.
