Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Haidar Nazim Aziz Al-Muhnah, and with the supervision of the Student Activities Unit and the Human Rights Unit, the college organized a visit to the Elderly Care Home in Karbala. This visit was part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at providing both material and moral support to the residents of the home.
The visit included the provision of in-kind assistance to the elderly, as well as an opportunity to understand their needs and meet some of them. Additionally, the team spent time with the residents to create an atmosphere of warmth and care.
For their part, the staff at the care home expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this initiative, emphasizing the importance of such visits in boosting the morale of the elderly and enhancing their integration into the community.
