The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific trip for the second year students to the government complex project for the governorate’s buildings. The trip aims to familiarize students with the various stages of building construction, learn about the construction materials used in the project, and how to conduct visual examinations on them, in addition to introducing students to the construction systems currently used and followed in this project, and what are the obstacles facing the engineer during the construction period.
The scientific trip also included introducing the students to the designs for the project and the importance of surveying work for each work
The professors called on the students to enhance and develop their practical, applied side by participating in such scientific trips
