The Master’s thesis entitled: “Saving thermal energy from Al-Khairat power station to improve the overall performance using the method of Choke Performance Method” was discussed by the researcher Sadiq Hussain Aliwe at the Faculty of Engineering/Kerbala University/Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The thesis incorporated the analysis of choke performance which can estimate the heat that is extracted from the power plant and utilize it to reduce energy consumption, total cost and improve performance ultimately.
It should be noted that Al-Khairat power station, installed in the Karbala province in Iraq, consists of ten units connected with the National Electricity Network.
