In a humanitarian initiative aimed at promoting social solidarity and community responsibility, the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala organized a visit to the Elderly Care Home in Karbala Governorate. The event was sponsored by the esteemed Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Nadhim Aziz Al-Mahna, and supervised by the Student Activities Unit.
Several faculty members and staff from the college participated in the visit, during which they provided material assistance and discussed the needs of the elderly residents. They also spent quality time with them to foster an atmosphere of camaraderie and psychological and moral support.
The care home’s management expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for this kind initiative, emphasizing the importance of such visits in uplifting the residents’ spirits and strengthening their sense of belonging and community care.
