Master’s thesis searched in the Faculty of Engineering – in the Department of Civil Engineering, tagged (The behavior of reinforced rubber concrete lintels subjected to shock load reinforced with polymeric carbon fiber sheets) For the researcher Karrar Reda Muhammad, the structural behavior of those beams under the influence of shock load, during the research a shock load test machine was designed and built to conduct an experimental study on the response to the impact of reinforced rubber concrete beams reinforced with carbon fiber sheets. Fourteen models of these concrete beams were tested and tested All lintels under the impact load at heights of 1.5 m, 2.0 m and 2.4 m, two main factors were studied: the first is the volumetric substitution ratio of rubber, and the second is a study of reinforcing techniques for the effects of carbon fiber sheets on rubber lintels under impact load. The results of the study showed a clear effect of the different rubber ratios on the behavior of these beams under shock loads, and the results also showed the effect of carbon fibers on increasing the bearing of those rubber concrete beams to the shock load.
The thesis was approved by the discussion committee, which consisted of Prof. Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid (University of Karbala) as chairman, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Bahaa Hussein Muhammad (University of Karbala) and Assistant Professor Dr. Walid Khaled Hadi (Mazaya University College) and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Ghanem Abbas (University of Karbala).
