The head of department message
The electrical and electronics department considered as a valuable part of Engineering college in University of Kerbala. The department provides its program for two levels; the BSc. Level as well postgraduate level (this level had been initiated recently to fulfil the work market demands, for local and regional levels, and had an advanced program based on the up-to-date technical development in electrical and electronics engineering.
The teaching syllabus had been prepared to provide the students with the theoretical and practical knowledge. As well as these syllabuses encourage student to learn for all his life and the professional ethics, and focus on improving the required skills that get along with work market.
The department mission to graduate creative engineers who are capable to improve all aspects of electrical and electronics engineering. Our goal to be outstanding in teaching and learning processes as well as to add to the knowledge stream by conducting researches and patented works, and spread the noble ethics.
The department highly concern to provide special care to improve student practical skills, because we believe, that these skills are very important to engineers in all different specialties. So, the department is proud to 16 different engineering labs well equipped, which serves all teaching program levels, and we hope to establish new labs with the cooperation of different institutions.
The department have a super qualified teaching team in different specialties which include: Electrical Machines, renewable power resources, reliable power resources, power electronics, IC technology, DSP, computer engineering, communication engineering, microwave, image processing and robotics.
And we ask Allah the progress and success.
