biomedical engineering is one of the important and highly specialized fields in which the engineering medical specialties are intertwined together, and it is one of the modern sciences, which has witnessed rapid development in recent years. The Biomedical Engineering Department was established at the University of Karbala in 2014-2015 and the aim of its establishment is because of what the holy city of Karbala witnessed from the inauguration Modern hospitals that are comparable to hospitals in Britain and developed countries because of their advanced infrastructure and medical equipment, for example (Al-Kafeel Hospital, Zain Al-Abidin Hospital, etc.) in addition to previous hospitals such as the city of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)
