On Sunday, 20-6-2021, the competitive examinations for applicants for postgraduate studies for the master’s and doctoral stages in the Faculty of Engineering were held under the direct supervision and guidance of the honourable Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi. That to achieve the smooth flow of competitive examinations for students applying for graduate studies.
In a related context, the President of Karbala University, Prof. Dr.
Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi,Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and the Departments of Graduate Studies directors, Planning, Studies and Continuing Education at the University’s Presidency have visited the examination halls designated for conducting competitive exams. The visit came to see the mechanism of the examination’s conduct To ensure that it is established under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regulations and the application of safety requirements.
The honourable Dean indicated that the scientific departments are committed to providing all the necessary supplies for the success of the exams. In addition, following the instructions and controls approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Safety Committee by providing sterilization supplies, following the mechanism of social distancing, and emphasizing masks and temperature measurement.
The Honorable Dean also indicated that the number of students applying for competitive exams for postgraduate studies for the master’s and doctoral stages reached (99) students, distributed in civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanical engineering.
