Profile

I received the B.S. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Al-Nahrain, Iraq, in 2005 and 2008, respectively, all in computer engineering. I got the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K. From 2006 to 2010, I was a Core Network Engineer with Omnea Telecommunications Corporation, Iraq. I worked as lecturer with the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, University of Kerbala, Iraq, since 2009. My current research interests include energy optimization of big data networks and big data processing in disaggregated data centers.

Research interests

Our beauty is in our differences. I am working in research areas that are related to network resource optimization and management, algorithms, data science and big data, energy optimization in ICT area, bioinformatics and machine learning.
